The Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce is excited to welcome gardeners from around the Lincoln Square community to take part in our first Community Garden. This garden is not only a simple way to grow food within the urban environment of Chicago, but it has the added bene fits and rewards of working together as a collective group.
Community Gardens sprout cultural exchanges and grow new friendships among a diverse group of people and improve a community’s identity and spirit. The garden has the ability to act as an added gathering space for people to mingle and spend time together. In addition, the beautiful and visually unique characteristics of the space lend itself to help soften the urban environment that surrounds the garden.
The garden is located near the corner of N. Western Ave. and W. Lawrence Ave. next to Wallgreens.
